7/15/22 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CLARA BARTON CAMP & CAMP JOSLIN CAMPERS

Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision last night to close our camp for the remainder of the summer. COVID-19 has hit camp this week at an alarming rate with cases continuing to increase each day. We are struggling to keep our required camper to staff ratio. Additionally, current campers are nervous, staff are concerned, and we feel it is best to stop the spread by closing camp for the safety of all. Phone calls are still being made to registered camper families. Safety is always at the forefront of every decision we make, and we hope you understand. After the last 2 years, this is the absolute last thing we wanted.

REGISTERED CAMPERS–REQUIRED FORMS

If your child is registered for a Barton program, there are many confirmation forms that you must complete. Please click on the program your child is registered for to go directly to a list of required forms: Clara Barton Camp or Camp Joslin, a Day Camp program, Vermont Overnight Camp Please be sure to read the confirmation letter first. Please read the camper handbook which contains a lot of information such as a packing list, mailing information to send letters to your camper, electronics policy at camp, health care policies, and much more.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CLARA BARTON CAMP & CAMP JOSLIN CAMPERS

Dear Camp Families, While we are excited more than we can express to have campers on site this year, we are still facing challenges that we share with most businesses today – staff shortages! We find ourselves in the unusual predicament of being able to staff only one camp. Given that the North Oxford campus has more cabins, more bathrooms, etc. all campers will sleep at Clara Barton Camp. Cabins will be designated to separate Camp Joslin and Clara Barton Camp participants.
