Winter Camp

Winter Camp is designed to empower adolescents with diabetes to safely and more independently handle the challenges that come with the teen years. Campers will learn about communication, personal responsibility, exercise, nutrition, and other teenage diabetes issues. Fun, friendship, and laughs are also on the agenda!

Winter WACkY Adventure Weekend
February 24-28, 2011

Cost: $450/person (without rental equipment)
Limited Space Available $559/person (with rental equipment)
Come join us for an awesome winter adventure in Vermont. You'll be skiing or snowboarding at two of the best resorts in southern Vermont. The weekend includes other winter recreation such as snowshoeing and a sleigh ride. Bring your best friend or sibling without diabetes along! We will provide lift tickets, food, lodging, and transportation to and from camp. Lessons are separate, please contact us for details.

Life After High School
April 1-3, 2011
Coed, Ages 17-20
Cost: $225/person
Limited Space AvailableCollege, the workforce, whatever your future holds, come experience what living with diabetes is like when you are on your own! This program is designed to engage in discussions and activities that mock real life and prepare you for independent living. Come learn techniques from those who have gone on their own before you.
