Challenging, hilly half marathon & speedy 5K begin & end at Marathon Park, 350 Pleasant Street, Ashland, MA, the original starting line area for the first 27 Boston Marathons. Join Bill Rodgers & discover the history and then make some of your own.
The Ashland Sporting Association will donate $5 to The Barton Center for each person who registers under The Barton Center 5k team and $10 for every person who registers under The Barton Center team for the half marathon.

The Lions Club of the Brookfields and The North Brookfield Youth Center present a fun 5-mile Road Race/Walk through scenic North Brookfield. The race begins and ends at the Brookfield Apple Orchard, 12 Lincoln Road, North Brookfield, MA. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with walkers leaving at 9:30 a.m. and runners beginning at 10 a.m. All proceeds from this event benefit Clara Barton Camp and the Diabetes Research Team at University of Massachusetts. The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive in The Barton Center's Chabot Health & Education Center at 60 Clara Barton Road, North Oxford, MA. The Clara Barton Birthplace Museum will also be open for those interested in touring the museum for free. Thinking about attending summer camp? This is your opportunity to come to camp to see what Barton summer camp programs are like at Clara Barton Camp, Camp Joslin, and Barton Day Camps! Spend two hours enjoying a sample of camp life—this is a scheduled program that runs from 2 to 4 p.m. You choose which camp program you would like to visit—Clara Barton Camp, Camp Joslin or the Barton Day Camp program.
